Professional Adviser puts Rostrum client as no.4 UK media commentator in personal finance

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Fantastic news - Adrian Lowcock is the no.4 commentator in UK personal finance - that’s Arsenal’s spot in the ‘Big Four’ so I’m particularly happy with it!

Professional Adviser says that “Lowcock has been catapulted into the limelight since 2008”  in its “Top 10 IFA rising stars” feature this year…

4. Adrian Lowcock, senior investment adviser at Bestinvest – “Lowcock became Bestinvest’s main media spokesperson in autumn 2008”

.”A change in the in the media and marketing strategy of financial intermediary firm Bestinvest has seen Adrian Lowcock catapulted into the media spotlight, commentating in both the national and the trade press. The firm’s senior investment adviser, Lowcock became its main media spokesperson in autumn 2008 and has been a significant commentator on investment-related issues ever since. He also edits the company’s client magazine and compiles the renowned and much reported Bestinvest Spot the Dog report, which identifies the worst performing funds in the industry. One drawback to this increased media role, he says, is that he has had to scale down the number of clients he advises”

New white paper

Monday, September 28th, 2009

We’ve just finished a new white paper for our management consulting client Maxxim Consulting - it’s called “Corporate Centres in the Recession” - and it looks at the impact of the recession on head offices in major UK companies.

We secured a placement in The Economist for the last paper we wrote for Maxxim… so the bar is set pretty high for the new one! We’ll post the coverage to the blog when it appears.
